A Time to Grow

A time to grow,
without a choice.

A world of stories fill your voice.

Passing by before your eyes.
No choice to grow,
just live or die.

Looking back on the memoirs,
seeing all the dreams we stepped on.

A poem full of happy rymes,
a diary beholds upsetting times.

Content or not,
to stand or fall,
growing up happens to all.

Passing by before your eyes.
No choice to grow,
just live or die.

Did You Know?

My brother showed me a gift he received from NUS (National University of Singapore). It's a planner book created by the Dentistry students over in the NUS. The book looks quite cool and inside the book, there are 2 pages of interesting facts. How many of the following do you know?

1. 111,111,111 x 111,111,111 = 12,345,678,987,654,321

2. The person who invented the electric chair was a dentist.
3. Humans are the only primates that don't have pigment in the palms of their hands.

4. Each king in a deck of playing cards represents a great king from history.
Spades- King David
Clubs- Alexander the Great
Hearts- Charlemagne
Diamonds- Julius Caesar

5. Only one person in two billion will live to be 116 or older.

6. If you put a raisin in a glass of champagne, it will keep floating to the top and sinking to the bottom.
7. The fingerprints of koala bears are virtually indistinguishable from those of humans, so much so that they could be confused at a crime scene.
8. Donkeys kill more people annually than plane crashes.
9. You burn more calories sleeping than you do watching television.

10. If you farted consistently for 6 years and 9 months, enough gas is produced to create the energy of an atomic bomb.

11. The strongest muscle in the body is the tongue.

12. The human heart creates enough pressure when it pumps out to the body to squirt blood 30 feet.

13. Right-handed people live. on average, nine years longer than left-handed people.

14. Wearing headphones for just an hour will increase the bacteria in your ear by 700 times.

15. Like fingerprints, everyone's tongue print is different.

16. Banging your head against a wall uses 150 calories an hour.
17. Apples, not caffeine, are more efficient at waking you up in the morning.

Dull posts...

I've been wanting to write for so long. I would like to write a new post with all those pictures I have taken these days attached to it. But I can't find the cable that connects my mobile phone to my laptop. Where have I put it? I really have no idea. Without it, I can't transfer my pictures to my laptop. And without the pictures, my posts will be dull. Cable, oh cable! Return to me, please!!
