Flowers by The Road Side

Have you always been too busy to really take in your surroundings? If your answer is yes, then slow down your pace. You will be surprise to see how wonderful the little things around you can be. Even the smallest thing (e.g. flowers by the road side) can brighten up your day! ;)

*How many people passes these delicate white flowers everyday? And how many of them actually stop in their tracks and appreciate them? If they did, they might be amazed by its beauty.

Bangau Oh Bangau

I went for a workshop last Sunday. I can't say I agree with everything the lecturer said but I do like how he uses this traditional Malay song to remind us not to blame others for being lazy or for what happen to us. According to him, when something undesirable turns out, it is due to what we have done. It is not because of others. So, "Stop Bangau-ing!!"

I sound like him now. XD

Okie...Now about the song. I remember singing this song when I was in primary school. I remember how I need to catch my breath every time I sang this super long song. I remember trying to catch up with the Malay words. But now I come to think of it, it's actually a very nice song.

Notice that the lyrics portray how everyone is blaming each other for something that does not turn out as what they want it to be. I think that's the reason the lecturer take this song as a reminder for all of us to "Stop Bangau-ing". Yea...remember that!

Ugly is a song by Sugababes. I heard it by chance when my roommate played the song and I'm loving it. I think it's more than just a song. It is a piece of advice. It shows us how we should perceive on ugliness...What's ugly anyway? Is it base on your looks or personality? Maybe you can find the answer in the song...

天外飞仙

最近看了一部电视剧。 让人出乎预料的是这部片还蛮好看的。这让我觉得仿佛回到了看《仙剑奇侠传》的那时候，原本都没抱很大的期望它会是一步好剧，可是在真正看了后才发现原来《天外飞仙》也是可以那么好看的。他的剧情整体来看是满扎实的，演员们也是越演越深入民心。让人看了后又心酸又为剧中人物感到怜惜。在看这部剧时，也不知觉得有了很多感想。

除此之外，《天外》跟《仙剑》同样都含有一些人生哲学，让我看了想再看多一遍，好让我可以重温当中的经典哲学 （尤其是‘劳夫子’的语录因为他的语录最有意思）。因为没有抄下当中的经典语录所以上网找了老半天，终于给我找到了些我蛮喜欢的《天外》哲学。哈哈！！ 以下是我找到的《天外飞仙》经典语录。如果能够再找到更多的话，我会填不近去的。:)
