Last week. My mum's phone rang.
Mum : 喂? (Hello)
Caller: 妈！！ 救我！！救我！！ (Mum! Help me!! Help me!!)
Mum smelled something fishy.
Mum : 你是谁？(Who are you?)
Caller: 我是你儿子啊！妈！快救我！(I'm your son! Mum! Help me quick!)
Notice that the caller refused to tell my mum his name.
Mum : 你从哪里打来的？(Where did you call from?)
Again, the caller refused to answer my mum's question.
Caller: 妈！快来救我！！我是你儿子啊！难道你要见死不救？(Mum! Come and save me! ! I'm your son! Do you wish to leave your son and see him die?)
My mum hang up the phone and dialed my brother's handphone. He answered my mum's call with a groggy "hello". As expected, it's just a fraud or a hoax.

mummy's "new son" dunno the REAL ah boy has a unique deep GROGGY voice like a frog..and for sure, he also dunno ah boy's mandarin is not so "geng" to say: "难道你要见死不救" ! and most importantly, he dunno how "精" our mum is! haha..
i saw on ppl's blog also...y so many this kind of case 1...=_= i think ,mostly from china lo from what i observe.....(the bank account, and then their language, cant seem to understand ,malay or eng...idiots...curse them again)
cy- yalor...I oso dun tink ahboy will say something like that. sounds so un-ahboy-ish...hahaha! Mummy straight away knew it's not ahboy cuz she asked who is the caller but he wont tell. But just to be safe, she still called ahboy to make sure he's safe. Ahboy gt frog-like voice...hahaha! Funny!
Vivien- Yep! My mum thinks it's a fraud. There's a lot of such cases where they'll scare the parents, then tell them their son is abducted. then they'll ask for ransom. Bad luck for them they met my mum. She's too clever to be cheated. hahaha!
