It's been a while since I produce any new posts. This blog is going to become an "abandoned house" if not because of some cheeky monkeys that is chattering here to make it more lively. Thank you all anyway. And do pardon me for this long absence. It's not that there's nothing to write. On the contrary, there are so many ideas for my blog I think I'll just summarise some and omit the rest.
Where shall I start?
4 May
First, I have to thank the "ice-skating group" for the wonderful trip. This is my first time stepping on a huge slab of ice. I can't describe how unbalance I was on that piece of ice. My knees were wobbling. And of course, as expected, I fell. But hey! Even falling can be fun! hahaha! Ask Irene and Su Teng. They'll tell you the same too.... Although I would prefer to fall in a better looking pose as that of Teng Teng. lol! Anyway, if you ask me, you don't learn anything if you never fall.
We had our dinner at Delifrance. Eating, chatting and playing with the food. Of course nothing short of a few pictures taken there. The staff there doesn't seem to be very good in photography so we had to think of our own means to take group photos.
Surprisingly, Teng Teng, Irene and the rest came up with the idea of having second round shortly after our dinner. And yeah!! We went SS2 to have our supper!! I didn't eat though... just ordered a hot drink to suppress my poor runny nose.
And there goes the last day of exam. I reached home at around midnight. Took a bath....the result is... I was down with fever, flu and cough.

Suffered from a feverish night. My body was still weak. But I have no choice but to wake up early to meet my supervisor. I did not feel any better even after having lunch with Irene. When I reached S17, I knew I have to postpone the trip back to hometown. I can't even walk properly.
And so I slept and slept and slept. I believe I have just set a new record. Never in my life have I slept so much. I slept at 12.30pm, woke up at 2pm, slept again at 4pm, woke up at 5pm, slept again at 6....and it goes on until almost midnight. Obviously, the time when I was asleep is longer than the time when I was awake. lol!
6 May
I felt much much better! The fever's gone!! Almost all of my energy's back! Woohoo! Since I felt much better, I thought of doing what I had planned to do some time ago- clean my room and the house. I did not manage to clean the whole house...but at least I cleaned my room, the living room, the wash basin and the porch. No worries. I'll continue with the cleaning when I'm back to PJ! :)
Today
Finally I can go back!! Yoohoo!! Had an early lunch with Boon Pei in PA before setting off to puduraya. I managed to catch a 2.30pm bus to JB. There was a few foreigners in the bus- White man, Black man....
Not long after I collapsed on the seat of the travel bus, sweating all over, in came an old Indian man who sat not far from me. He tried to adjust his seat but failed. So I pointed to the level at the side of the seat and mouthed "Tarik". He smiled and pulled the level beside his seat. Seeing that his seat still would not recline, I bent over and helped him pull the seat down.
The old man turned over, smiled and pointed to the leg rest and asked "This one?" I know there should be another level under the leg rest but I could not see any. So the old man called one of the puduraya staff who happened to board the bus. The guy just threw him a "rosak". The Indian old man did not seem to understand so he asked again. This time, the staff was annoyed. He yelled at the old man, "Rosak! R-O-S-A-K! Rosak!"
The old man managed to pull the leg rest halfway up but feeling annoyed, gave up and changed to sit behind the tall white guy.
Next, a Black guy boarded the bus and happened to sit at that exact particular seat. This guy, however, does not like to have the leg rest up. He tried to push the halfway-up leg rest back into its original position but failed. And he so happened to have asked the same rude staff about how to push the leg rest back. He was given the same attitude.
"Rosak!!" the staff yelled.
Feeling annoyed like the Indian old man, this Black guy too, changed seat.
Sigh... What a shame...Is this Malaysians' attitude? How embarrassing!
At somewhere near Tangkak, the bus finally stopped for a while. Many people went down to stretch their legs. As usual, I did not. I just listen to the music I saved in my handphone while watching another bus pulling into the car park beside our bus.
Slowly, one by one the passengers return to the bus. I looked up and happened to meet the eyes of the extremely TALL white guy. Yeah... Even when he's sitting I can see that he's tall. He smiled so I smiled back.
Not long after that, the driver boarded the bus and asked a few passengers whether they are going Singapore. Most of them that were asked are those foreigners. They nodded and was told to change to the bus next to us.
The Indian old man, nervously stood up and muttered something to the driver but he was ignored. Poor man... Panicked, the old man picked up his luggage as if he wanted to follow. Realising no one answering the old man's question, the Tall White Guy turned to the old man.
The Tall Guy: Singapore? (He used the simplest question he could think of so that the old man can understand him)
The Old Man: Yes!
The Tall Guy: Next bus. (I can't remember the exact words but I think this is what he said)
Bless the guy for being so nice to the old man! So they all moved over to the next bus.
While waiting, I looked out of the window and I was surprised to see that the tall guy happened to sit at the same row as me in the bus next to us. He looked up, saw me and his whole face brightened up. He broke into a HUGE smile and gave me a VIGOROUS wave. Although I could not hear anything, I can see him mouthing "HI!!"
It's such a friendly gesture I couldn't help but returned a big smile. Seriously, part of me wanted to laugh. I've never seen anyone giving a stranger such a vigorous wave and such a friendly smile as if we know each other. But in fact, we've never spoken to each other...Not even a WORD!LOL!
Before the bus pull out from the parking lot, I turned to look out. Again, his face broke into the same BIG SMILE and WAVED me goodbye. I waved and smiled back in return. The Indian girl sitting behind me must be thinking we know each other. XD
Don't think I could forget that HUGE SMILE and that VIGOROUS WAVE for some time. What a friendly man! He had certainly brought a smile to my face. If only the puduraya staff and the bus driver would be friendlier like him! If I were to compare the different people I met on the bus today, I would have been very ashamed of my fellow Malaysians.
To the tall guy- Bravo for being so friendly and nice to those surrounding you. I'm not sure where are you from but no matter which country you are from, they should be very proud to have you as their citizen.
To Malaysians-I hope there'll be improvement from local people. Malaysia boleh! So I know Malaysians can do it! I hope there will be no more rudeness the next time I boarded the bus.

Hahaha! Impossible! We don't know each other la. And I don't have anything that can attract him. hahaha!!
Nice.
Seriously, most Malaysian gotta learn how to smile, no doubt. =)
Anyway, i think sue sin is jealous, hahaa... Perhaps he should learn to put down his 'murderer' facial expression too =P
That's why...The staff was so rude he even spelled out the word "rosak" to the old man as if to say "You tak tau bahasa melayu kah!"
So rude!!
sue sin with the murderer look! haha! Maybe he'll murder the rude guy with his zombie armies...hahaha!
